Introducing Midnight Mixers Amber Tonic: Raw, Natural and Completely Unique
Last year we introduced you to Midnight Mixers, our own range of world-class craft tonics and mixers designed to enhance quality artisanal spirits and to hit the mark on environmental responsibility and local relevance. After 18 months of trials and fine-tuning, we now introduce Amber Tonic to the range; a sunset-coloured, completely natural tonic water made with raw Andean cinchona bark—quinine in its natural form.

All the character and the quinine in our Midnight Mixers Amber Tonic comes directly from the highest quality cinchona bark we can source (exclusive to Midnight Mixers). In simple terms, the process we have developed involves steeping the cinchona in a solution to make our own concentrate, and then we simply add water, carbonate and can. No synthetic additives, no chemical preservatives and no added quinine. It could not be more natural.

The result is a tonic water with a natural amber colour, and where all the complex aromatics and flavours come directly from the bark itself. Amber Tonic’s woody, exotic spice, gingerbread notes and fuller body make it a complete drink on its own, as well as being an agile mixer with a broad range of white and dark spirits. It works brilliantly with all spirits, particularly with Rum and Agave, and it naturally makes a delicious Amber Gin and Tonic—just add a twist of citrus.

As is standard for the Midnight Mixers range, Amber Tonic has been developed and packaged to minimise our impact on the planet (read more about our environmental commitment here). Careful attention has been paid to ethical sourcing and, of course, all our production is local. The cans are a perfect serve at 200ml and are light, stackable, compact and 100% recyclable.
