Commune of Buttons ABC Chardonnay 2021

From an east-facing block in the heart of Basket Range, the ABC Chardonnay draws its restraint and freshness from 28-year-old vines rooted in a clay-sandstone shelf. Fermented in large-format oak and matured for 11 months on full lees with minimal stirring, the 2021 combines ruby grapefruit and earthy pear with a tensile, finely drawn palate. Subtle lees texture underpins the fruit, while a grainy mineral thread carries the fresh, precise finish.
