Reviews

“The 2023 Mazoyères-Chambertin Grand Cru contains 70% whole bunch with the central stem removed. This has a perfumed bouquet with red berry fruit, blackberry, pressed violet petals and a touch of blood orange. The palate is medium-bodied with more sucrosity on the entry compared to other cuvées, but this remains tensile and focused. It concludes with a harmonious, satin-textured finish. Wonderful.”
94-96 points, Neal Martin, Vinous
“Made in pedicel style, from old vines at the Griotte end. A whiter soil than is typical for Charmes, more of a limestone feel. Here the depth of fruit makes itself felt even on the nose. This is more in an alpine strawberry red fruit resister with a feeling of mineral limestone emerging behind. Drink from 2030-2038.”
94-96 points, Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy
