Dormilona Skinnie Sauvignon Blanc 2024

Jo Perry sources the fruit for Skinnie from her good mate Ben Gould’s (Blind Corner) certified-organic vineyard in Quindalup. The property lies on the coastal flats, flanked by the Indian Ocean four kilometres to the north and eight kilometres to the west. The sandy soils have pea gravel (seven to 10 metres) over porous coffee rock and ironstone (25 metres) underneath. The fruit was harvested by hand and destemmed into amphora, where it fermented and rested on skins for five months. It was then basket-pressed to tank, where it settled briefly before bottling.
