The Regional Fiano is sourced entirely from the shale-rich Grove and Bit of Heaven vineyards in Hilltops. This year’s wine is pure Fiano (previous years have included Vermentino and Grechetto). The wine was destemmed and left on skins for a spell before being pressed to 500-litre puncheons for fermentation and 11 months’ maturation.

It’s a pleasing, if not somewhat edgy white wine, medium weight and refreshing, good in terms of perfume and extension of flavour and generally in the zone for the variety. Fun.”
