This wine comprises 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. The two Cabernets come from the Oakbank Estate vineyard, with the Merlot sources from growers at Lenswood.
The wine is matured in French Oak (barriques, demi-muids and foudres), which brings structure to the bright fruit. Bright, aromatic and classical in style, the wine has a fine texture and refreshing acidity. The Franc brings a discreet fresh, wild herb flavour whilst the Cabernet and Merlot deliver signature boysenberry fruit with a savoury tapenade lick. A wine built for Australian dinner tables.
