Disznókő Tokaji Late Harvest Furmint 2022 (500ml)

Termed Késői Szüretelésű in Hungarian, this late harvest wine is made from 100% Furmint. In 2022, after the hottest and driest summer on record, heavy rains at the end of September brought intense botrytis to already very ripe grapes, and clusters affected by noble rot were selectively harvested between 6 October and 3 November. The grapes were gently pressed without destemming and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The different batches then aged for an average of 18 months in Tokaj’s traditional underground cellar, in oak barrels that had held two to three wines, before blending and bottling in July 2025.
