"Grown on a high density block planted to MV6 Pinot Noir. Wild yeast, 20% whole bunches, 15% new French oak, bottled unfined and unfiltered. Made by Luke Lambert. Cracking pinot noir. Tight and tangy but sluiced with ripe, exotic fruit. Cranberry, blood orange, black cherry, an assortment of twiggy spices and cocoa powder. Tannin plays the role of the puppeteer, pulling on the strings throughout. There’s a whisper of woodsmoke but it’s so deftly played that it seems to come and go. "Medium brick-red colour with a distinct tawny rim. The bouquet is mellow and forward-developed, the palate soft, leathery and pot-pourri-like, with advanced characters, probably partly from whole-bunch ferment.
