This little number is a blend of 58% Shiraz and 42% Cabernet from the Blind Corner Quindalup vineyard in the Margaret River. This site is certified organic and biodynamic, and comprise sand over pea gravel with a stony granite base.
This wine comes from the 2025 vintage which had a moderate winter and spring followed by a dry summer, which was a little cooler than 2024. Overall, the grapes saw a long ripening period allowing the reds to develop great phenolic ripeness.
The fruit was harvetsed over four dates and foot-crushed in open pots for a wild ferment. It was hand-plunged for five to seven days before pressing into seasoned oak to finish ferment and gain some barrel character.
