Benjamin Leroux Bourgogne Aligoté 2024
Producer Benjamin Leroux
Region, Country Bourgogne, France
Bottle Size 750ml
Product Code 26393-750

Back in his Domaine Comte Armand days, Leroux was one of the first in Burgundy to celebrate old-vine Aligoté. Working with great, old-vine material and super-precise winemaking, this wine remains at the top of the spectrum. The key components are Leroux’s parcel of 50-year-old vines in Meursault. The vine material comes from the high-quality, low-yielding Aligoté Doré cultivar.

Benjamin Leroux Bourgogne Aligoté 2024

Reviews

“Their own vines, in Meursault. Mostly made in foudres. Pale in colour, a fresh bouquet with ripe fruit, a touch of greengage. Slightly softer than expected on the palate, then a little more tension behind. Middleweight. In bottle. Drink from 2026-2028.”
87 points, Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy
“The 2024 Bourgogne Aligoté from vines in Meursault has a well-defined nose with touches of apricot blossom and Golden Delicious. The palate is well balanced with just the right texture for an Aligoté, slightly resinous and waxy with a dash of ginger on the finish.”
88 points, Neal Martin, Vinous
