Arnoux-Lachaux Grand Cru Clos de Vougeot Quartier de Marei Haut 2022

The Domaine farms 0.5 hectares of 65-year-old vines rooted in one of the Clos’ blue-ribbon terroirs: up high, next to the wall that runs along the Grands-Échezeaux border. From 2018, the name of the lieu-dit has been printed on the label. From Clayver, this was deep and powerful with plenty of fleshy fruit balancing out the abundant structure. Classic and profound.
