Alfredo Maestro El Rey Del Glam 2020

Half the grapes for the 2020 were drawn from vineyards in the Sierra de Gredos in Navarredondilla  and the other 50% are from vineyards in Peñafiel (Valladolid). The soil types include granitic rock, sand, clay and limestone, and they sit across altitudes between 700-920 metres in Peñafiel and 1,100 metres in the Sierra de Gredos. Grapes were harvested by hand and all clusters were processed without crushing or destemming. Natural fermentation was in stainless steel tanks with daily pump-overs and no corrections or additions. Racking and the onset of malolactic fermentation also occurred in stainless steel tanks. Once this was complete, the wine was taken outside into the cold of winter to clarify and stabilise naturally. It was racked one last time before bottling.
