“The 2019 Nuits Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Procès wafts from the glass with scents of potpourri, raspberries, peonies, blood orange and raw cocoa. Medium to full-bodied, bright and lively, it's vibrant and expressive, with a pretty core of fruit, melting tannins and a saline finish.” 92-94 points

Outstanding. “This too is overtly floral with its layered nose of more discreet splice nuances, earth and blend of red currant and cherry wisps. There is again excellent delineation to the stony and appealingly textured middle weight flavors that possess slightly better depth on the sneaky long finish shaped by a more evident tannic spine. Once again, this is outstanding and particularly so for what is generally, and fairly in my view, considered to be a good but not elite Nuits 1er.” 91-93 points

“The 2019 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Procès is comparatively stony on the nose, a little more austere on the nose, opening gradually with aeration, a mixture of red and black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with a little more sinew on the entry than the Les Poisets, quite sappy towards the finish with a dash of white pepper and clove towards the harmonious finish. Very good persistence here, a wine that is deceptively approachable but it is worth cellaring.”
