Paul Gadenne Apremont La Grimpe Jacquère 2022

Gadenne organically farms two plots of Jacquère vines in the commune of Apremont, just ten kilometres from the town of Chignin. The sites are stony, with topsoil littered with scree over deep limestone. The vines face southeast, and the plots are nestled at 350 metres in the foothills of Mount Granier, an almost 2000-metre peak. Handpicked fruit is vinified in stainless-steel tanks and bottled after eight months.
