MDI Sangiovese 2026

Fruit for MDI's Sangiovese comes from Denis Pasut’s well-established vineyard in Mildura. It spent 15 days on skins and was minimally worked to preserve plenty of fresh berry character, then rested for 6 months in oak before racking and bottling. Bright red cherry and ripe red berries lead, with savoury, earthy notes and a touch of dried herb beneath. The palate is juicy and medium-bodied, with fine, gently grippy tannins and a fresh finish. It’s delicious young, even slightly chilled, and made for tomato-based pasta, charcuterie or anything off the grill.
