Jo Landron Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Amphibolite 2025

Biodynamic. Amphibolite is one of Jo Landron's signature cuvées, named after the greenish metamorphic bedrock its vines are rooted in. Everything about this wine is designed to capture energy. Landron keeps the time on lees deliberately short to retain as much freshness and minerality as he can, then bottles early and without filtration, so the wine travels from earth to glass with as little interference as possible. "It's a free-spirited Muscadet," he says, and that sums it up perfectly. This is a pure, racy style of Muscadet, carried by the briny, iodine minerality that is the hallmark of this cuvée. Built for refreshment and full of tension, it's a Landron classic released in small quantities.
