Screwcap. This cuvée is a blend of two great terroirs of the Mâconnais: Mâcon-Charnay and Guffens’s young vines in Pierreclos. As these particular wines do not strike Verget as especially Mâconnais in style, the blend is bottled under the Bourgogne appellation. In terms of the winemaking, one part was vinified in mature oak (50%) and the other in a horizontal stainless-steel tank. There were no lees stirring ‘so as not to mask the natural freshness of the wine’.
