The vineyard spans six blocks across four clones: Gingin for power and concentration, and Dijon 95, 96 and 76 for texture, finesse and freshness.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp sugg=\"true\"\u003e2020 was a near-perfect season bar a brief October hailstorm—warm, dry spring, hot December, then milder January ripening. Chardonnay was picked first, from early February, with pristine freshness and concentration.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp sugg=\"true\"\u003eHand-harvested, cooled overnight, whole-bunch pressed and fermented naturally in French oak (36% new, 38% one-year-old), with selected parcels through malolactic fermentation. Matured nine months. Grapefruit zest, lemon meringue and butterscotch on the nose; soft, intensely fruited palate with toasty notes and a chalky finish.
