It was a hot, dry season, and harvest came very early. Each parcel was direct pressed in a slow cycle and moved to barrel after settling. The wine took its time in the winery with a long, slow, natural ferment, before ageing in a mix of seasoned barriques and puncheons for 12 months on full lees. It then spent a further four months in tank on fine lees.
