Bonneau et les Autres blends fruit from the Clos Bonneau, from Placey (which adjoins Château Climens) and from part of Piada.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Clos Bonneau is an exceptional terroir where red earth dotted with pebbles rests on the Barsac plateau’s typical limestone base. The relatively cool soils imbue Guffens’ wines with mineral steel and freshness to offset the late picked fruit. Rather than use the morning mists, Guffens prefers harvesting under the first rays of the sun to obtain concentrated botrytis.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDespite the extra vineyard area, 2025 yields were tiny, at just 7 hl\/ha for the Barsac.
