First made in 2009, this was Sébastien’s inaugural no sulphur wine—something few producers were experimenting with at the time. As Sébastian says, he created this cuvée to show people that a great zero sulphur Champagne was a possibility; it could be both super pure and age effortlessly. As the estate has moved on and very little sulphur is used, he has decided to retire this wine as it no longer stands out as it once did. This release is 100% Verzy Chardonnay from vines planted in soils rich in clay, limestone and flint.
