Medium sweet. Made from late harvest grapes sourced from old vines located mid slope of the Grand Cru Schlossberg. Super concentrated and rich but with racy acids giving the fruit brilliant definition. Long, finishing flavours that go on and on. Great on its own but pairs beautifully with poached salmon, any with a curry based sauce, or sautéed liver. Alcohol : 12 % Residual Sugar: 60 g/l Acidity : 6,9 g/l (AT)

"The 2004 Riesling Schlossberg Vendange Tardive smells of quince jelly, orange zest. Wood smoke, and pungent brown spices. Wonderfully refined and polished on the palate, silken-textured yet with vivid, bright citricity running its (formidable) length, this should gain in harmony and complexity over at least a 12-15 year period."
