This is the first wine developed as part of a project we are working on with a well known European producer. It’s a single vineyard wine that comes from a remarkable north facing site in the Heathcote region of Victoria. The ancient, red soils and the mild climate have produced an intensely flavoured, aromatic red that is great drinking now and over the next 5 years. It’s only 13.5% alcohol and is yet another example that proves this region can do more than simply produce block-busters.
