This artisan Champagne is made by De Sousa, taking advantage of the access they have to high quality fruit from an area of the Marne valley called Damery. It's a blend of Pinot Meunier 60% and Chardonnay 40% that has had three years aging with two years on lees and one year bottle ageing post disgorgement. We think it's a terrific bubbly; creamy textured, mouth filling and complex. It's a great value Champagne and far better quality than any of the large house offerings we've tasted at similar pricing.
