The much loved and respected man-about-Santenay, Denis Clair, now works closely with his son, Jean-Baptiste, and the latter's involvement has had a clear impact on the quality and style of this Domaine’s (already delicious) Côte de Beaune Villages. The superbly crafted 2012 below is a case in point. It’s a wine out to prove that ‘great value red Burgundy’ is not yet an oxymoron!
