Eden Road The Seedling Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2010
From two vineyards in Canberra. There are few SSBs around that combine freshness, delicacy, textural generosity and great structure (a hallmark of the Eden Road 'style') as successfully as this. Lifted orange blossom, summer hay and citrus notes. Lovely feel in mouth, generous but never fat, with persistent acidity. Very pretty and refreshing.
"Ripe melon and sweet tropicals, white flowers, grapefruit and musk all add up to one alluring wine in the glass. Crunchy tropical fruit and tinned-peach flavours on the palate - richness meets acid cut. This has plenty of favour and represents outstanding value." 91 points, Nick Stock, The Age/SMH Good Wine Guide 2011
