No technical notes on this wine but it really doesn't matter. This is just a fabulous value for those who love Rhone style whites. It's an Australian version of a Cote du Rhone blanc with excellent varietal definition, complexity and intensity. Both parcels were originally intended for the Spinifex Lola but Peter Schell deemed them both to be too forward. This is a plump, textural wine with pear, lemon pith and citrus rind aromas and flavours and a dry, chewy finish. Very 'Rhone' and terrific value.
