The cat is well and truly out of the bag. Benjamin Leroux’s hotly anticipated 2009 Burgundies have almost arrived in Australia and due to building demand (we already have orders for some wines that exceed our allocation) we have brought forward our offer date so we can give our best customers a shot at grabbing some of these remarkable wines. In short:
• Benjamin Leroux, the gifted winemaker of Comte Armand, has released his third – and finest - set of wines under his own label.
• Many of the wines are under Stelvin Lux, the new generation of screwcap. This is a major bonus as every wine is as the maker intended; no cork taint, no random oxidation, no premature oxidation. The only time we do not have Stelvin is when the volume of wine produced was too small to allow for two bottlings.
